Inventa un Film to present ‘Lasting’ from Iran

The 2021 edition of the Italy-based Inventa un Film Lenola (Inventa un Film) is slated to host Iranian short film 'Lasting'.

The 23rd edition of the Italian film fest will be hosting Rahim Sadr’s short flick on a mother, her daughter and a single woman. Each of these three women is involved in a triangle life. Mother with financial problems, daughter with forced childhood and the woman forced to decide whether to die or survive. 

"One day I wake up and see that nothing is the same as before! Suddenly I was separated from everything,” a short synopsis for the film reads.

Fereshteh Marashi, Mohadeseh Maniei, Maryam Elhamian, Zohreh Partovi, Negin Sadeghian, Sanaz Taklimi, Omid Zare have appeared in ‘Lasting’.

Some 16 short films will participate in this edition of the festival.

The upcoming round of the Italian screening event will be held on August 4-8, 2021.
